The Epic Earthquake
THE scale of devastation in Nepal is truly heartbreaking; one of the poorest nations on this planet has been rocked violently then smashed by the terrifying power of nature. Shocks and aftershocks have frightened the whole nation and have led the lives to the streets.
The country’s Prime Minister, Sushil Koirala, isn’t guilty of this natural havoc; still the works of relief could have been more effective, had it been well coordinated.
Incredible photographs of collapsing building in the town and unimaginable videos of landslides following the quakes have dazed the survivors hunting for loved ones amidst unbelievable disaster.
Such disasters have been turmoil for every nation which has gone through these, and The Land of the Himalayas will not be an exception. Amidst all, it has no choice, it shall rise again.
